HSE CHILD ADOLESCENT AND FAMILY PSYCHOLOGY SERVICE

The Kerry Primary Care Child, Adolescent and Family Psychology Service is available free of charge to children and adolescents (0-18years) living in County Kerry. The service provides psychoeducation to parents in an individual or group context covering topics, such as Emotion Regulation, Attachment Based Parenting, Anxiety, and Neurodiversity .  The service provides therapeutic intervention and assessment to children and adolescents presenting with mild-moderate mental health, emotional or behavioural difficulties. The Primary Care Child and Family Psychology Service does not carry out formal diagnostic assessment for ADHD, Autism, or Educational/Learning Needs (e.g. dyslexia).
