Free 6-Week Introduction to Using CBT and CFT for Coping with Stress Course

Are you a parent interested in learning about using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) for coping with stress?
On this course you will learn:
- To understand and normalise stress reactions and what causes and fuel them
- A basic understanding of CBT and CFT
- To be able to identify and break unhelpful patterns and develop alternative more helpful strategies
- To develop and grow a more compassionate self.

When: Mondays from 12:00p.m. – 1:00p.m. starting on January 9th, 2023

Course will be taught by Megan Edwards who is a fully IABCP/BABCP and CBPI accredited and trained CBT Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer in Kerry. She has a great deal of experience of helping people with a range of problems including: depression; stress and anxiety; and working with people with physical health problems and the difficulties associated with living with these. She has many years of experience in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and has extensive training in Compassion Focused Therapy. She also has developed and delivered courses in supervision and teaching CBT at the University of York and University College Cork.
