What is Find Your Flow?
The objective of these group workshops is to create a safe space for children to socialise with
their peers and embrace staying in the moment with a variety of activities such as art, music,
story telling, drama and messy play. In these workshops we will explore different feelings and
understand that all feelings are ok but it’s important to learn how to navigate them. There is no
performance element to these workshops as we will focus more on the process and place the
importance on developing empathy, confidence and teamwork skills through playful, creative

These workshops are suitable for ALL CHILDREN (6-10Yrs) but would be especially beneficial
to children who have anxiety around peer activities and at times may express that they feel “not
good enough”

Light snacks and all materials will be provided. Spaces are limited to 8 children per group so
early booking is advisable.
Who are we?
My name is Deirdre Burke and I am an experienced primary school teacher but recently
retrained as a play therapist and was awarded an honours diploma in Play therapy from the
National University of Ireland, Galway. I am passionate about nurturing childrens own problem
solving skills, developing resilience and empowering them to feel happy in themselves.
My name is Susan Geaney and I’m a qualified Therapeutic Neuro-Dramatic Play practitioner,
and composer working across many art mediums (Music, Drama, Dance, Art, etc). I believe we
are all creative beings and that our creativity holds great insight into who we are and our
healing. I use the therapeutic capabilities of the Arts to help children build their confidence and
self-awareness, so that they feel empowered to connect, expand and express themselves freely.
