Ballyduff: Incredible Years (3-12 Years Basic Parenting Programme)

The Incredible Years 3-12 years parenting programme strengthens parents abilities (monitoring, positive discipline, confidence) and fosters parents involvement in their children’s school experiences in order to promote children academic, social and emotional competencies and reduce conduct problems. 

This 12-week parenting programme is delivered in a group format to promote collaborative practice and participant lead learning.

Who is this programme for?

  • Parents, Grandparents, Carer(s) with a child(ren) between the age of 3-12 years.

  • Parents, Grandparents, Carer(s) who are concerned about their child(rens) behavior and/or social skills.

  • Parents, Grandparents, Carer(s) who are looking for some new parenting tips.

The programme includes:

  • Promoting positive behaviors in school aged children

  • Reducing inappropriate behaviors in school-aged children

  • Supporting your child’s education

And there’s more good news! 

  • There are practical weekly handouts given. 

  • One to one work is offered if needed.

  • It is a great opportunity to meet other parents, grandparents, carers.

  • There is tea/coffee and a chat each week.

Dates & Times

The start date for this course commenced last week but it is open to applicants until the 6th of February. 

The course will run for 12 weeks

Every Wednesday evening from 8:00p.m.-10:00p.m. and Every Thursday morning from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
