Kerry Mental Health and Well-being Fest, #kerrymhwfest, will take place from 10th-17th October 2020.
The Inter-agency steering group, would be delighted for you to get involved and show your support by promoting mental health and well-being in Kerry. The Fest has been very successful each year and has had a wide reach across the county.
They understand that many group activities have been restricted by COVID-19 and as such the options for involvement are considerate of the challenges you are currently experiencing. They are asking that you show your support for promoting wellbeing locally by:
- Promoting the Five Ways to Wellbeing, for example in your community notes, social media posts, emails etc.
- Sharing Healthy Kerry Facebook and Twitter social media posts (where possible)
- Displaying the event schedule prior to the week of the festival
AND (optional)
- Hosting event(s) that promotes mental health and wellbeing during the Fest
In order to register and allow them to acknowledge you or your organisation’s involvement and support for the 2020 Kerry Mental Health and Wellbeing Fest, we need you to complete and return the registration form Click Here by Friday, 28st August 2020 via email to kerrymhwfest20@gmail.com
Since the Fest’s beginning in 2018, the key focus has been on creating awareness of, and scheduling events that empower people to engage with the Five Ways to Wellbeing (Connect | Give| Take Notice | Keep Learning | Be Active). Due to the impact of Covid-19 on daily life it is important now more than ever that we support one another’s mental health and create awareness of the Five Ways to Wellbeing.
The Inter-agency steering group look forward to hearing from you and to receiving your registration form.
