Kerry Local Creative Youth Partnership is running a free live stream eight-part summer series of workshops for young people of all ages. The live stream workshops will commence at 12:00pm each working day and run for two weeks from Monday the 6th to Wednesday the 15th of July. They will live stream via the Kerry Education and Training Board (Kerry ETB) website www.kerryetb.ie/wpstream/live-stream. No prior registration is required.
The workshops feature demonstration style lessons in multiple activities that are sure to please all tastes creative and artistic. Workshop lessons in animation, poetry, birdhouse and bird-feeder making, designing a speaker for a mobile phone, creative writing, screen and play writing and an Irish language workshop titled Filíocht Mar Leigheas (Poetry as Medicine) offer up a rich menu to choose from.
The workshops promise a bit of fun along with some well-tailored instruction”, said Deirdre Enright, Creative Youth Co-Ordinator at Kerry ETB. The summer live-stream workshop series is being led by filmmaker and writer Rory Fellowes, designer Donnchadha O’Connor, actor Siobhán De Paor, as well as writer and poet Faye Boland.
