A Community Response Advisory Group has been established in Kerry to coordinate the community response on COVID-19 and to ensure that vulnerable members of the community can avail of a trusted and coordinated support service during the current public health emergency.
The Kerry Public Participation Network in collaboration with the Community Response Advisory Group has developed an online interactive map of Community Engagement showing the community, volunteer and other relevant services that are there to assist those experiencing difficulties across the county at this difficult time.
Some of the services include collecting groceries, prescriptions and medication, meals on wheels, assisting with errands, support on entitlements and other such general assistance and supports to the community.
The Kerry Public Participation Network Coordination Officer is kindly asking all community groups that filled out the initial survey detailing the service and or support they provide to look at the map on the Kerry PPN page at www.kerryppn.ie and check if the details, service being provided, hours, contact person etc. are correct. Kerry PPN are aware of the phenomenal work that is being carried out in the community and how many organizations further adapted their service to support the community.
