Free ImagineNation activity book for primary school children in Direct Provision

Children’s Books Ireland recently produced an activity book with An Post called the ImagineNation playbook. It’s a 24 page A4 activity book, with pages to colour in, different suggested activities to do like animal yoga, map drawing, code breaking, creative writing prompts etc – fun and creative activities for children away from school to help in this strange and difficult time. It is illustrated through-out so that almost every page can be coloured in, and suitable for primary school children.  The Community Foundation for Ireland have now funded a second print run, where all copies printed are for children in need of extra support, whether in family hubs, emergency accommodation, Direct Provision, hospital, or other difficult circumstances during the Covid-19 crisis. There are also art supplies available for those children that are most in need. You can find out more about the project here, and view or download the first version of the playbook or individual pages.

Children’s Books Ireland are hoping you can help them spread the word within your organisation, or to other organisations who can help us get the playbook to children in need.  The ImagineNation playbook is absolutely free and they just need people to fill out this form with the quantity required and delivery address. They expect demand to exceed supply, so do get your request in ASAP please, before Friday June 19th.
