The HSE Health Promotion and Improvement (HP&I), Health and Well-being Division HSE South, Cork/Kerry Community Health and University Hospital Kerry (UHK) will work together in 2020 to deliver the
FOUNDATION PROGRAMME IN SEXUAL HEALTH PROMOTION (FPSHP).
Maire O’ Leary from HP&I and Martina O’Sullivan Darcy from the Maternity/Sexual Health Department of UHK are delighted at the prospect of supporting each other to do this work in the service of sexual health promotion work in Kerry.
The FPSHP is a 10-day comprehensive, capacity building training programme for health, education, youth and community service providers who wish to develop their confidence, skills and knowledge in the area of sexual health promotion. The programme is delivered over a five-month period and takes a holistic, life-course approach to Sexual Health. Click here to download full information on the programme
Dates: (10 Days Inclusive)
Day 1&2 – 11th and 12th of February
Day 3&4 – 10th and 11th of March
Day 5&6 – 21st and 22nd of April
Day 7&8 19th and 20th of May
Day 9&10 – 16th and 17th of June
Training Location:
The training will be facilitated in Killarney, venue to be confirmed.
How to apply for this training:
Application for this training is a 2-step process comprising of; 1. an application form, 2. telephone interview.
Application forms must be signed by a Line Manager as approval to attend the complete training programme.
